Journey's End Spekboom Sauvignon Blanc White Wine 75cl

Journey's End Spekboom Sauvignon Blanc White Wine 75cl

Sauvignon Blanc

Sustainably & ethically produced.

This elegant and aromatic Sauvignon Blanc is well-balanced with a lingering mouthfeel.

A crisp, fresh white named after a key green project, the planting of 10,500 Spekboom bushes on the vineyard’s open grounds. An incredible native plant, otherwise known as the 'elephant bush', it significantly absorbs CO2 from the atmosphere, far more so than any other plant.

Founded in 1996 by the Gabb family, Journey’s End is the most southerly planted vineyard in the Stellenbosch wine region, nestled among the picturesque Schapenberg Hills, beneath which lay 350 million year old decomposed granite soils. As well as fantastic views, the vineyards benefit from the cooling and cleansing south-easterly wind, known locally as the ‘Cape Doctor’, which comes in from nearby False Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

Journey’s End focus on expressing this incredible terroir, while preserving the natural environment and wildlife with a sustainable approach to farming and all winemaking activities, as well as being a force for good in the local community.
