Cooking Guidelines
Cooking Instructions - General: This product must be cooked before consumption.
Take care when opening pouch as hot steam will escape.
Check product is piping hot before serving.

Microwave - From Chilled: 700W 12 mins, 900W 10 mins
Remove outer packaging. Place pouch onto microwavable dish and pierce several times. Microwave on full power. Shake pouch gently halfway through cooking. After cooking, carefully pour cooking juices into a jug. To heat the gravy pour the contents of the sachet into a microwavable dish, add 2 tablespoons of the cooking juices, cover with cling film and pierce. Heat on full power for 90 seconds (700W), 60 seconds (900W). Leave to stand for 1 minute before removing from the microwave. Carefully pour the gravy over the lamb shank to serve.
Oven cook - From Chilled: 200°C, 400°F, Fan 180°C, Gas 6, 46 mins
Preheat the oven. Remove all packaging and set sauce sachet aside for later use. Place the contents of the pouch into an ovenproof dish, cover with foil and cook in the centre of the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove from oven, carefully pour cooking juices into a jug. Return lamb shank to oven uncovered for a further 26 minutes. During final 5 minutes of cook time, empty contents of sauce sachet into a saucepan. Gently bring to boil over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of the cooking juices, stir frequently for 2-3 minutes. Remove lamb shank from oven and place on warm plate. Pour gravy over the lamb shank to serve.
Storage
Keep refrigerated. Once opened consume immediately.
Suitable for freezing. Freeze before date mark shown and consume within 1 month.
Defrost thoroughly in a fridge and once defrosted consume within 24 hours.
Once defrosted, do not refreeze.
